Sometimes the best recipes are born out of surprise! Recently, we bought a jackfruit from the shop — it looked perfectly yellow and tempting. But after cutting and tasting, we realised it was raw and not sweet at all. Instead of throwing it away, we decided to transform it into something new. That’s how this unique Kathal Biryani with Coconut Milk and Paneer came to life, served with a tangy homemade Apple Pickle.

Why Jackfruit Biryani?
Jackfruit is often called the “vegetarian meat” because of its texture.

Apple pickle on the side brings a tangy-sweet flavour that pairs beautifully.
So instead of binning that raw jackfruit, we created a protein-packed, restaurant-style biryani at home.
