

Navratri Vrat Special : Sabudana Shahi Cutlet and Instant Makhana Dates Kheer - Easy Fasting Recipes
Two easy and delicious fasting recipes – Sabudana Shahi Cutlet and Instant Makhana Dates Kheer with dry fruits and no added suagr. Both are perfect for Navratri or any fasting day – simple to make, healthy, and full of flavor. Try this royal snack and quick dessert combo to make your vrat even more special.
Shahi sabudhana cutlet:
Ingredients:
Sabudhana 1 cup
Boiled potatoes 2 medium
Crushed roasted peanuts 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves chopped
Jeera powder 1/2 tsp
Salt
Jaggery powder or brown sugar 1 tsp
Chopped green chillies
Stuffing:
Crumbled paneer 100g
Curshed walnut, almonds, cashews 1 tsp each
Raisins 2 tbsp
Amchor green chutney:
Jaggery 2 tbsp
Amchor powder 2 tbsp
Salt
Red chilly powder 1 tsp
Jeera powder 1/2 tsp
Water 1 cup
Green chutney:
Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
Green chillies 1-2
Salt
Curd 1 tbsp
Amchor chutney 3-4 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Instant makhana dry fruit kheer without sugar:
Walnuts, cashews, almonds 2 tbsp each
Makhana 1 cup
Dates 4 big seedless
Saffron
Elachi powder 1/2 tsp
Milk 1 big cup
Steps:
1)Wash and rinse sabudhana 3 times and soak in little water for 2 hours.
2)Mix boil potatoes with sabudhana with other ingredients other then stuffing ingredients.
3)Mix well and mash it with hands.
4)In other bowl prepare the stuffing.
5) Apply oil on hands and flatten it. Fill the paneer filling.
6)Shallow fry and cook 10 mins on each side.
Amchor chutney:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and microwave for 2 mins.
Give a mix and micro it for 1 min.
Let it cool and it will be thick like sauce with dark colour.
Or alternatively can cook on gas for 10 mins.
Green amchor chutney:
Mix all ingredients and grind it with adding any water.
Makhana kheer:
1)Roast all the nuts along with makhana for 10 mins on low heat.
2)Add other ingredients and cook for another 10 mins.
3)Let it to cool and grind it.
